A&M had 257 ½ points to win its first state title, edging Prosper Walnut Grove by four points. Frisco Wakeland was third with 201 points.
Prosper Walnut Grove won the last event, the 400-yard free style relay in 3 minutes, 3.58 seconds for 40 points, but Consolidated was second in 3:05.77 to earn 34 points to clinch the title. Junior Kolby Martin, senior Jaden Kwok, freshman Logan Kwok and senior Nate Sherrard teamed up to clinch the title.
Consol moved past Prosper Walnut Grove in the 100-yard breaststroke with 29 points as senor Neal Pang was third and junior Ethan Jiang was sixth. Prosper Walnut Grove earned only 14 points to fall behind the Tigers by 10 points. That was enough cushion for Consol to make history.

The Tigers got off to a good start Saturday with Jaden Kwok, Pang, Martin and Sherrard winning the 200 medley relay. Sherrard also won the 100 freestyle. Martin was second in the 200 freestyle and second in the 100 butterfly.
The Consol girls were 10th with 97 points. Boerne Champion won with 218 points.
Lady Tiger junior Brooklyn Poole won the 200 individual medley in 2:04.42 to earn 20 points. She also was second in the 100 breaststroke.
